About the Campaign for Catholic Schools

The Campaign for Catholic Schools is a fifteen-year-old nonprofit organization established as an outgrowth of Cardinal Sean O’Malley’s 2010 Initiative, a major strategic planning effort aimed at rebuilding and revitalizing the Catholic schools in the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Boston. Currently, CCS co-sponsors two Academies, Saint John Paul II Catholic Academy (Dorchester) and Trinity Catholic Academy (Brockton) which educate 1,400 students aged 2-14 at five fully renovated campuses from 6:30am-6pm each school day.

CCS has raised over $115 million, attracting an ecumenical group of supporters who value urban Catholic education and its effectiveness in graduating underserved students, with over 97% graduating from Catholic high schools.
